Harvest Ridge Winery is known for its quality vinos, but in 2015, the family-owned vineyard brought the first cidery to Delaware. At Rebel Seed Cidery, hard cider is made with local apples and apple juice. One of its two varieties, First Anthem, is a great introduction to the brand. The sweet and crisp cider has the familiar taste of apple juice straight from the carton with a grownup edge. It’s perfect for those who want something lighter and sweeter than beer but fresher and bubblier than wine. First Anthem complements the cooler weather this fall as you pour a drink for apple picking, hayrides and circle time around the fire pit. Get up close and personal with Harvest Ridge ciders and wines in two locations—the Marydel vineyard or the Toughkenamon tasting room.
