June is Pride Month, and there’s plenty to do around Delaware to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

It’s time to celebrate pride across the First State! This year, showing support for the LGBTQ+ community is as important as ever, and there are so many different ways to do just that. These events across Delaware are statements of love, support and acceptance for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Here’s where you can get loud and get proud across Delaware this month.

Docklands Diva’s Pride Drag Brunch

Saturday, June 3

Join Docklands Riverfront for its Pride Month kickoff. This drag brunch will include performances from Amerie Jameson, Elektra Manchez, Victoria Blair and more. Tickets are $15 for the show. The kitchen and bar will both be open and serving up delicious brunch and cocktails. The event will take place outside if the weather permits it and will run from noon to 4 p.m. The organization expects the event to sell out, so get your tickets online here.

Delaware Pride Festival

Saturday, June 10

Celebrate Pride Month at the largest annual LGBTQ+ gathering in Delaware. The annual festival is set for Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Legislative Hall in Dover. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. All ages, genders and orientations are welcome to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Delaware. The day will be full of drag performances and other entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, a parade and fun for the whole family.

Our Night Out Wilmington’s PRIDE Party

Thursday, June 15

Our Night Out is a LGBTQ+ Wilmington social group that meets meets monthly. For June, the LGBTQ happy hour will be held at Constitution Yards. Grab your friends, put on your most colorful outfits, have some drinks and enjoy time with this lively Wilmington group. They’ll be there from 6-9 p.m. Joining the event is free, so you’ll just pay for your food and drinks!

Miss Troy’s Drag Brunch: Pride Edition

Saturday, June 17

The Queens of The Queen are ready to celebrate pride month with a special edition drag brunch at The Queen. General admission tickets are $39 and can be purchased online. The ticket includes one brunch menu item, one drink and an amazing show! Or, upgrade to a $61.50 VIP ticket for front row seating, and a queen-sized drink with a souvenir cup and a photo-op with the queens after the show.

Pride in the Park

Saturday, June 17

Head to Tilton Park for this Wilmington pride event. Gather with your family and friends with a picnic and a blanket to enjoy games, good vibes and the LGBTQ+ community in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere. The event is organized by Nuestras Raices Delaware to carry out its mission of promoting acceptance of minority communities including the Latino community and the LGBTQ+ community in Delaware.

Middletown’s 3rd Annual Pride Walk and Festival

Saturday, June 17

Middletown community members are ready to join the big cities with their own annual festival. After a successful walk for the past two years, there are now vendors and other fun elements to turn this “pride walk” into a full-scale shindig.

Pride Month Open House at the Delaware Center for Horticulture

Thursday, June 22

Celebrate Pride Month in the serene back gardens of the Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH). Under the pavilion, enjoy a happy hour with delicious beverages, light refreshments, music and fun. Enjoy a free tour of the facility at this open house! Register for the open house event for free online.

Pride Day at the Brandywine Zoo

Saturday, June 25

It’s Pride Day with the animals! Wear all your rainbow gear to the zoo for a fun day of education, a scavenger hunt, story time and more. The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission for adults is $9. This family-friendly event is the perfect way for both adults and children to celebrate Pride Month.
